FORMATION
"...until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."
-- Ephesians 4:13
-- Ephesians 4:13
The Christian life is one of formation and discipleship and the Church is its primary setting, for it is "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord."
Here at Grace Church, we've committed ourselves to this growth across the generations, from children to families to adults. Wherever you are in your spiritual life, whatever your questions, there is something in the life of our parish for everyone!

Adult Formation | Sundays at 9:15am

Rosary | Third Wednesdays at 5:30pm
|
Each Sunday morning at 9:15am, our Adult Formation group gathers in the Education Building (enter from the north parking lot) for a time of discussion about the basics of Christian doctrine and practice, led by Fr. Caleb. So far, we've studied various Epistles from the New Testament, explored the Christian Year, and have even read some poetry together!
|
On the third Wednesday of each month, our Rosary Group gathers in the chancel at 5:30pm to pray the rosary and meditate on the mysteries of our Lord and His Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Bible Study | Tuesdays at 10:00am
We have a longstanding Bible Study that gathers each Tuesday morning at 10:00am in the Education Building for reflection on Holy Scripture. They are currently studying the Gospel according to St. Mark.
|
More recently, we have begun doing book studies to go a little deeper into things -- reading such titles as The Love that is God: An Invitation to Christian Faith by Frederick Christian Bauerschmidt and Being Christian: Baptism, Bible, Eucharist, Prayer by Rowan Williams.
