ECW Trip to Kansas
July 11, 2019

We first ate lunch at Shindig's, a converted railway station, in Winfield, KS.

Then we drove to St. George Christian Orthodox Church in Wichita.

From there we shopped at the Nifty Nut House -- loaded with a huge variety of candy and nuts.

Fr. Bill and Carole's Departure

Today, May 26, 2019 was  Fr. Bill and Carole Martin's last day as our supply priest. They have been at Grace for nine months and have won our hearts and our love. We will miss them greatly.
Marsha Moore presented them with our tokens of appreciation. Fr. Bill will have hip surgery Tuesday, May 28 and will have months of recuperation. Our prayers are for his speedy and complete recovery.

Bridge Lessons - 2019
Parishioner, Nadine Frisby conceived the idea of having bridge lessons at Grace Episcopal Church free of charge to the public. Friday, February 15, was the first session. She expected 12 people to attend and was thrilled that there were 24 people anxious to learn how to play bridge. Living proof that you are never too old to learn something new and never to young to teach, Charlie Wells, who is 12, is shown with instructor Tari Wood who is 94-1/2! The lessons are sponsored by Episcopal Church Women.

Who: Parishioner, Nadine Frisby
What: Bridge lessons
Where: Grace Episcopal Church, Ponca City, OK
When: Fridays from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
